Keebler Filled Pretzel Bites – Peanut Butter & White Fudge

Posted in Confectionaries

Hello my dudes! Guess what?! Today is my birthday! That’s pretty radical eh? Today I bring you the white fudge version of yesterday’s Keebler treat, so lets get into it!

I thought the chocolate fudge version had a little but of an identity crisis, but not nearly as bad as the white fudge do. The outside coating is good, but because of its translucent state it makes the snack look a little less appealing. Normally I find that white fudge and/or white chocolate is too rich for my liking but I feel like the fudge that they used on these added more of just a hint of sweetness than an explosion of vanilla.

Sadly they made no changes in the peanut butter recipe so we are stuck with the same weird dried out log of peanut butter on the inside. But like the chocolate version, as long as you consume them in one whole bite, the texture of the peanut butter is pretty unnoticeable.

Texture : 4/5 – The outside fudge is smooth and creamy, the pretzel has a good crunch, and the peanut butter innards are gritty as ever. Somebody get that PB a glass of water.

Smell : 2/5 – These smelled rather sweet with a hint of peanut butter.

Appearance : 1.5/5 – The exterior coating is a weird translucent white which makes the pretzel look weird. The pretzels look quite different from the picture on the outside of the box.

Taste : 2.5/5 – The white fudge version was okay. I prefer the chocolate fudge myself. I was expecting more of a vanilla taste from the fudge but it was mostly sugar. The pretzel was nice and crunchy and perfectly salted, but much like the chocolate counterpart, the peanut butter is grainy and dry. Hopefully Keebler will rework this element.

If you think the Keebler folks have their peanut butter concoction off a bit, I dare you to try these……

It will completely shift your perspective as to what DRY peanut butter truly is, trust me.

Remember that’s your opinion mine is that these are great as per people who like chocolate they usually don’t like white fudge so thus the lousy review.. I like em and the only one you should listen to is yourself not this person who as you can see doesn’t like them. Try em yourself
